The rebar threading machine, also called the rebar thread rolling machine is a kind of machine to strengthens and processes the end of the steel bar which has been widely used in the construction industry in recent years. How to Use a Rebar Thread Rolling Machine?


Preparation Before Processing

Connect Power Supply - Ensure the power cord and ground wire are securely connected as per the machine's requirements, and switch on the power.

Add Coolant - Fill the coolant tank with a water-soluble coolant. Note: Oil-based coolants are strictly prohibited.


Machine Commissioning

Check Cooling Pump - Turn on the machine and verify that the cooling pump is functioning correctly.

Inspect Electrical Controls - Test the control buttons to ensure the electrical system is working as expected.


Adjustment Before Processing

Install the Thread Rolling Wheel - Select a thread rolling wheel suitable for the diameter of the steel bars to be processed.

Replace Gaskets - Change the gasket to match the thread pitch, ensuring processing accuracy.

Adjust Rolling Wheel - Align the rolling wheel with the cutter bar by inserting the cutter bar into the rolling head center. Adjust the wheel to touch the cutter bar, then remove the cutter bar, tighten the screws, and secure the gear ring.


Set Positioning Disc or Plate

-- For fixed positioning discs, adjust the adaptive positioning plate according to the steel bar diameter.

-- For adjustable dials, set the scale to match the rebar diameter. Fine-tune when the rib-stripping blade shows wear.


Set Rib Stripping Travel Block - Adjust the position of the travel block to ensure the rib stripping length meets the required specifications.


Machining Process

Clamp the Steel Bar - Place the steel bar in the centering clamp, aligning its extension with the starting position of the stripping blade. Secure it by pulling the clamping lever.

Activate the Machine
-- Connect the power supply, open the cooling water valve, and press the start button.
-- Turn the feeding handle to begin cutting along the workpiece.

Strip Ribs - When the required rib stripping length is achieved, the rib stripping knife will automatically open.
Roll Threads - Continue turning the handle to feed the rolling thread process. When the rollers contact the steel bar, apply force to make the spindle rotate one full cycle. Automatic feeding will commence until the threading process is complete, followed by an automatic stop.

Reverse and Reset
-- Press the reverse start button for automatic retraction.
-- Turn the feed handle clockwise to return the rolling head to its original position. The rib stripping knife will reset automatically.
-- Unload Processed Steel: Once the machine resets, remove the finished steel reinforcement.

By following these steps, the rebar thread rolling machine can operate smoothly, producing high-quality threaded steel bars efficiently and accurately.
